Propiedades psicométricas preliminares del Índice de Comportamiento Proambiental (ICP) en una muestra colombiana

Resumen
Se han desarrollado algunos instrumentos psicométricos para medir el Índice de Comportamiento Proambiental (ICP), pero aún se identifican pocos en Latinoamérica, y menos en el modelo de Teoría de Acción Razonada (TAR). A partir de un estudio psicométrico, con novecientos ochenta participantes, se realizó una validación convergente y divergente con una escala de conocimientos ambientales, un análisis factorial exploratorio y un análisis de consistencia interna con ω de McDonald. Como resultados, se evidencia que el instrumento completo explica el 52,83% de la varianza, la saturación supera el .40, excepto para un ítem; y los ítems se agrupan en cinco categorías. Se evidencian correlaciones positivas entre los ítems proambientales y los conocimientos, y correlaciones negativas con los ítems antiambientales. Entonces, se obtiene un instrumento que mide el ICP con niveles adecuados de validez y confiabilidad; no obstante, se sugiere la revisión de algunos ítems y su extensión, buscando mayor concordancia conceptual, conforme a los procedimientos psicométricos.
