Abstract

First window: Amalfi, Antioquia.

The trip began at five in the morning. From Medellín, without adding the distance to the Naranjito path, it is more than 150 km or about four and a half hours of travel. When we arrived at the urban center of the municipality of Amalfi, at around eleven in the morning, we did not take into consideration the need for a 4WD to support the holes and the stones of the uncovered road. So, Canito, as he is known in the town, or Don Canito, as I used to call him, took us in his classic white and blue Toyota Land Cruiser to the meeting point with Eduardo Trujillo Aramburo, or Don Eduardo, as we all called him.
