Abstract

Development has been extensively studied to explain the reasons for the growth in all countries and regions, both from the neoliberal grammar, as well as the systemic needs theory, and the choice of the gross national happiness (GNH). However, the analysis of the current situation explains that between development and growth there is not a mandatory continuity. In this sense approaches on development have implemented ways to measure the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the Gross National Happiness (FIB).
