Medicine. ¿A profession without hope?

Abstract

The present state ofmedical profession is analyze from 3 concepts. In first place we establish a link between a globalization process and health systems; in second place we point out the biomedical model crisis and at last we discuss the present ethical point of view of medicine in general. The development of these three components incorporates a set of analytical elements which if they all respond to the suggested questions of the text, they will open on array of questions regarding medicine, doctors. In a period of time where economical rationality and technical support crosses most of the value strueture of our society. The medical institutions and even the doctors are not refleeting and responding adequately to this present situation.
