Abstract
We repon the case of a 15 year-old girl seen at Hospital Pablo Tobón Uribe (Medellín-Colombia). She presented with an unilateral ovarian mass. It was thought to be a teratoma based on clinical and laboratory information. She underwent unilateral alpingooophorectomy. The final pathological diagnosis was massive ovarian edema. We make sorne considerations on this rare entity.
