Tecnologias de informação e comunicação como apoio à saúde mental de mulheres na fase perinatal

Resumo

Durante a gravidez, a mulher passa por muitas mudanças, não só físicas, mas também mentais, por isso a saúde mental perinatal é de grande importância nesta fase. A maioria das gestantes que desenvolve alguma doença mental durante a gravidez, como depressão ou ansiedade, não é diagnosticada, o que pode causar efeitos adversos para a mãe e o bebê. Nesse sentido, o rastreamento, o diagnóstico, o manejo e o acompanhamento desse grupo são de grande importância. Graças aos avanços tecnológicos, podemos contar com a utilização das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) para encontrar formas de abordar as mulheres na fase perinatal para rastreio e acompanhamento da sua saúde mental. Portanto, este artigo de revisão centra-se em ver a sua aceitabilidade, percepção, barreiras de acesso e novos desenvolvimentos focados na melhoria da saúde mental em mulheres perinatais.
