Relación entre el sentido de la vida, la ansiedad, la depresión y el estrés en adultos

Resumen
El significado de la vida ha sido un constructo que ha recibido la atención de investigadores en ciencias psicológicas, quienes han buscado profundizar en el conocimiento de su importancia para la salud mental. En este contexto, se desarrolló un estudio con el objetivo de contribuir al conocimiento científico de este dominio. En concreto, se intentó analizar la relación entre el sentido de la vida y la ansiedad, la depresión y el estrés. Participaron 471 adultos, con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y los 86 años. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante un Cuestionario Sociodemográfico, el Cuestionario de Sentido de Vida y la Escala de Ansiedad, Depresión y Estrés. Los resultados indicaron que los individuos con alta presencia de significado tenían niveles más bajos de depresión, ansiedad y estrés, y que los individuos con un alto nivel de búsqueda de significado tenían niveles más altos de ansiedad, depresión y estrés.
