Abstract
There are different psychotherapeutic models in the field of clinical operations in psychology. Each model is founded upon a specific world view and a certain idea of humanity. The anthropological idea affects directly on how the therapeutic operation is carried out. In the case of logotherapy, considered one of the most representative models of the existential psychotherapy, it is possible to point out clearly that its anthropological conception as well as its clinical operations are based on ethical principles fully recognized and upheld by bioethics. Such principles are, among others, the respect for the life and dignity of each person, the importance given to the spiritual dimension of humanity and the transcendental meaning given to the human existence.
