Algunos problemas jurídicos derivados de La implementación de la telemedicina en Colombia como modalidad alternativa de prestación del servicio público de salud

Abstract

In between the years 2000 and 2004 was gestated and developed by an interdisciplinary team of professionals of the U.P.B., presided by Doctor Sergio Mejia and Engineer Oscar Cardona, the research project “Antioquia’s Telemedicine Network”, that in order to achieving an integral development of the thematic, it was presented the need to be developed not only in its technical bioengineering and telecommunications component, but counting besides with a study of economic feasibility and a legal analysis of the main implications and problematics derived from the implementation and installment of the public health service under the modality of Telemedicine. This article shows what it was developed in the legal component of the project, in which intends to carry out a first approximation of exploratory type to the mentioned problematic in its phase of implementation, keeping in mind our normative framework and, in the operating field, the regulations of the General Policy in Health and the intervention of the different actors in the installment of the health service under such modality.
