Abstract
Using the systematization of the most relevant theoretical positions on the relationship between domestic law and international law, the present work addresses the reader, in the historical and present context of Cuba, with the regulations that control the relationship between foreign and domestic norms, and national academic studies with respect to this topic. Thus, evaluations about the reception of international treaties in Cuba will be made, and in turn, theoretical propositions to perfect this process will be presented, with the aim of preserving the internal unity and coherence of the Cuban legal system, as well as the harmony with its international promises and national law.
