Abstract

This article shows the aproximation of the investigation realized by the SIUR urbanism students group of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, with an actual vision of coloring palette in the neighborhood of Prado in Medellin. The principal justification of this study is determinated by the urbanism and heritage importance of the Prado neighborhood, because it had been declared the only one “conservation place” in the city by the planning (POT).


The neighborhood’s importance will take us to continue the investigation began by LAUR in the territory and city line: “Coloring Landscape in Aburra´s Valley”. we had been studing the outside appearance of the houses from photograpies and color palettes, to find a cromatic tendencies that finaly approach us to the coloring map.
