The Public Policy for the Support and Strengthening of Families in Antioquia: An inclusive, participatory and collaborative collective construction

Abstract

In the conversations inside the Departmental Families’s Board of Antioquia, had been considered the relevance to preparing a methodological article that would give account of the collaborative work of its members, who throughout the years 2013 -2019 actively participated in the process of formulation of the Public Policy of Support and Strengthening of Families in Antioquia in compliance with the provisions of Law 1361 of 2009 (modified by Law 1857 of 2017), which culminated with the issuance of the Ordinance 47 of December 30, 2019, by the unanimous vote of the members of the Departmental Assembly. In its current stage of implementation by the Government of Antioquia, one of the tasks of the Board is to continue accompanying the management of Public Policy in favor of the families that inhabit the territory of the department.
