Abstract

As beings that are taking shape to perform as Social Work professionals, we should respond in an appropriate manner to the challenge of contributing with knowledge to society, from the various expressions of social inequity. This is why, in the current educational process at the Social Work School of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana – UPB, we have been doing approaches and interpretations of social situations seen in the city of Medellín. This way, we are the germination soil of different researches, focused on the objective of understanding the generating causes for these conflicts, in search of taking part in the social reality change processes.
