Habitantes en situación de calle y construcción territorial en el centro occidente de Medellín

Abstract

This text is the result of the research Project “Family, Demographic, Social, and Economical Characterization of the Street Inhabitants in the City of Medellin,”  arried out by the Social Welfare Office in the City of Medellín. The ideas here expressed, are the result of the direct contact established with the street inhabitants and with representatives of institutions that deal with this phenomenon. they depict some of the essential characteristics of these people as well as their relationship with a place that plays a significant role in terms of interactions, use and practices.
