Abstract
The text proposes a reflection around the tutor – teacher profile and their role as facilitators and advisors throughout the university life. The former is presented with the “untying knots” metaphor, as a way to perceive and solve those conflicts that seem to undermine us in some occasions and to which we, frequently, can find an answer or a possible solution when having the support and point of view of others.
