Violencia en la relación de pareja, una realidad que asusta. El caso de Osorno Chile

Abstract

The aim of this article is to show the results of a research sponsored by the Research Department of Los Lagos University, in Osorno, Chile. The research gives information and data on the aggression suffered by woman in Osorno Province. It analyses the violent situation that has experienced or is experiencing the statics sample and it tries to show and project the characteristics and the number of this phenomena. How it affects women in many areas, such as personal, family and social life. Aggression towards woman is experienced in many Chilean towns and many societies worldwide. According to the existent data, this problem goes beyond age, economical situation, social level and culture.
