Abstract

The Geographer, Lawyer, Professor, and MA, Milton de Almeida Santos has been a great reference of critical social contemporary public space solutions. Milton Santos expertise lies in understanding the purpose of geographic space as an ever transforming element defined by the society project being sheltered, from the physical and subjective space perspective of a society with various complex growing issues, This article intends to highlight the experience, and professional accomplishments of this geographer, introducing him into the local, regional, and national Colombian academy, with the intention of making a contribution into the Latin-American thinking that supports the interpretations towards social current issues.
