Abstract
The concept of vulnerability in the academic production has been revised since the second half of the year 1990 to 2005 by authors from different backgrounds and nationalities who work for Latin-American research centers, which study; behavior, categories, analysis and interpretative possibilities that support the study of social current issues. This research is compared to other interpretations that are supported in traditional views; such as the concept of social class. Although we have observed through the years that new-dimensions are included in their scope, their epistemological limitations are still evident, since it is only based and supported from the structure perspective.
