“Buddy! we Love you”: Tensions in Friendship Under Adverse Contexts

Abstract

The following text presents the findings of the qualitative research called "Perceptions of affective relationships with family, friends and partner, which have young people belonging to the Young Christian Association ACJ - YMCA", developed in 2010 by elSemillero of Family Research, from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.


The study addressed three categories of analysis: affective relationships with the partner, with the family and with friends; This article will emphasize the analysis of the latter. The research was carried out with two groups of young people between 14 and 21 years old, using the focus group methodology.
