Uses and meanings of the concept of family: Truth between reality and perception

Abstract

The article proposes a literature review of the “family” concept based especially on documents that have served as support for both Social work and other professional fields in the construction of their professional field work. Also to provide a better understanding of the subject The political Colombian constitution of 1991 in article 42 which makes reference to the concept of family to finally present a conceptual approach to the term is used by the members of the House of our Lady of Chiquinquirá institution (House of la Chinca), Research work done by a Pontificia Bolivariana University student from 10th semester during an internship practice in a social work context.
