Main Article Content
Abstract
The emotions associated with the experience of infidelity, are always viewed as a crisis in the marriage taking into consideration, both the perspective of the cheater and the cheated, which are culturally, morally and politically related to the concepts of love and fidelity that people have built about marriage and the coping strategies of each individual. When Infidelity is discovered it operates as a visible way to express discomfort and dissatisfaction, which causes devastating and dramatic emotions described as a feeling of doom, with the experience of emotional and physical symptoms, that impair the quality of life and normal performance of daily tasks, as well as the proliferation of polarized feelings ranging from frustration, impotence, disappointment, and a strong desire to damage or take revenge on the infidel, and even the desire to fight for forgiveness, hope, and rebuilding love.
