Resumo
Vivemos em tempos modernos sem precedentes, o surgimento do coronavírus 19 (COVID-19) e suas consequências interromperam e afetaram a educação médica. Embora a prioridade tenha sido e deva ser o atendimento aos pacientes e comunidades, esta pandemia implica em desafios logísticos e preocupações com a formação dos futuros médicos, o que requer atenção intensa e rápida das escolas médicas gestores (universidade e hospital) e educadores médicos.
