Abstract

In this paper basic information is given about Phisiopathological basis, effects and indications for treatment of diverse pathological states by means of compressive stocking and other elastic garments with pressure gradients. More emphasis is made of lower extremities pathology because of its higher incidence but the use of these garments in other areas is based on similar principles.
