A city in process

Abstract

Pragmatism and urban anthropology aroused the idea of “spaces in process”, spaces that have been formed by trajectories and practices of appropriation. If this idea is understood as something not only exclusive to public space but as a cultural phenomenon, it is possible to make extensive these considerations about a “city in process” to diverse fields that traditionally have been marked by the changing nature of mankind, such as domestic space and contemporary art. The invitation is then to learn doing, to understand mobility like a work tool and to live fully this moment of multiplicities.
