Abstract

The purpose of the article is to spark a debate regarding the necessity of planning the use of urban public space in big Cosmopolitan cities in developing countries where the life expectancy and the population are growing.
This information was gathered, based on the work conducted by the UFPE group, and the data analysis of the aging population and the urban public space by RECIFE.
