Participatory experiences with displaced families from moravia and altos de la virgen

Abstract

This article intends to reflect on the participation of displaced families in community organizations; settled in Moravia and Altos de la Virgen in the city of Medellín. The study was carried out under the Qualitative research approach and the Case Study methodology. Among the results, it is necessary to stress that the participation of some displaced families, more than a political influence exercise, works as strategy to overcome economic adversity conditions; that, in the absence of institutional guarantees or precarious access to certain rights becomes an alternative to improve living conditions.
