Abstract

It is evident that Colombian internal conflicts have produced a series of dramatic consequences with no precedents in our national history such as forced displacement, massive kidnappings, common delinquency, high poverty rates, social injustice, and homicides among others. These effects hide the drama of a family or person denominated “victim”. Correspondingly, it is indispensable for the development of this presentation to take into account the verb “to repair”, which is used specifically in the context of “repairing of victims” of the armed conflict in this country. The enlighten Bible words of Luke 23:33-43 are considered a way to explain this. The figure of Christ assures the victims a repairing process in the country of the armed conflict due to his love and mercy: By being an innocent victim, he forgives, and by forgiving, he repairs the relationship with both the Father and the life of a condemned. I conclude that the union Of Christ assures to accomplish the slogan from the National System of Repairing to the Victims, from the Spanish acronym, SNARIV, for the national day of the memory and solidarity with the armed conflict victims of the year 2014: “repairing the victims is contributing to the peace”.
