Comunicação no currículo médico

Resumo
Nesta revisão se faz uma aproximação sobre a integração da dimensão comunicativa no âmbito da educação médica, ao reconhecê-la como eixo central dos currículos em saúde e por sua relevância na relação clínica. A partir do contexto atual no exercício médico, suas problemáticas e necessidades, se propõe alternativas de ensino que favorece o desenvolvimento de capacidades e competências em comunicação por parte do estudante. Esta aproximação inicial, ademais de considerar o significado de uma adequada comunicação, se precepe que os principais referentes globais que há servido como diretriz a diferentes escolas de medicina para a definição dos currículos. Na elaboração destas propostas curriculares, se há considerado aspectos como a forma na que se concebe a comunicação desde a programação acadêmica, se se assume como um curso independente ou se está integrada à conquista de outras competências biomédicas (de maneira transversal no currículo). Outras temáticas tem que ver com os conteúdos, a definição das metodologias de ensino, aprendizagem, avaliação e a necessidade de garantir o acompanhamento e a retroalimentação ao estudante, pela natureza da experiência comunicativa durante as práticas clínicas e por sua relevância na formação humana e integral.
