Resumo
A relação entre o meio ambiente e as normas de jus cogens do direito internacional público continuam sendo discutidas tanto na academia como pelas pessoas que praticam esta rama em todo o mundo. Este escrito mostra quão central é esta questão em termos não somente da importância que lhe dá a Comissão de direito internacional, mas também em termos de como os estados e as entidades em todo o mundo enfrentam fenômenos perturbadores como o aquecimento global. Com base nas opiniões dos juízes e ex-juízes da Corte Internacional de Justiça e nos estudos de escritores reconhecidos, este artigo mostra diferentes maneiras de lidar com esta questão urgente da perspectiva de um país como a Colômbia. O documento abrange a área do direito económico internacional e é o resultado de uma investigação que está sendo realizada sobre o papel da ética e da moral no direito internacional público contemporâneo.
