Contemporary adolescents: from sex education to knowing excess

Abstract

This text is an analysis of the effects of the introduction of a determined will on the conception that our time has about the role of sexuality in cultural ideals and its effects on the logic of the symptoms that contemporary adolescents present. Symptoms that have exceeded the limit of the private and have entered the public stage. Considered both as a public order problem and as a public health problem. It has decidedly entered another order with respect to the relations between culture and sexual drive, culture has assumed the position that by lifting the taboo of sexuality it has found the perspective so that subjects are healthier, happier, by way of to produce to the subject the knowledge that he lacks to have a healthy, happy and scientific encounter with sexuality. But counting on the drive as it was revealed to Freud, leads us to be interested here in a particular way about an unshakable vocation towards education in sexuality, since it seems that we have moved decisively from the Freudian conception towards a conception inscribed in the coordinates of a new era.
