Abstract

This research paper carries out at the first instance, a brief description of the perspectives of organizational culture taking in to account that different authors of social sciences such as sociology, cultural anthropology and psychology have conducted many studies and analysis of organizational context that go beyond a linear design into a more reflective and circular design, considering these organizations as stages of social construction in order to consolidate the source of organizational culture. Second, this paper presents the concept of organizational culture. This organizational culture has four main elements, which enter in to its definition. The first one is the role of the environment in which the organization operates, the second one is the value of the same culture, the third one is the historical constitution, and the fourth element focuses on the functions of a culture for an organization. At the end of this article we explain the facts in other to study the organizational culture and we also found that the majority of the authors assume that the recognition of the values, heroes, integration rituals, identity organizational, standards, among other facts are fundamental to carry out an organizational culture study.
