Method: psychometric study, with 980 participants. A convergent and divergent validation was performed with an environmental knowledge scale, followed by an exploratory factor analysis and an internal consistency analysis with McDonald’s <strong>ω</strong>. Results: The complete instrument explains 52.83% of the variance, the saturation exceeds .40 except for one item, and the items are grouped into five categories. There are positive correlations between pro-environmental ítems and knowledge, and negative correlations with anti-environmental items. Discussion: An instrument that measures the PEBI with adequate levels of validity and reliability is obtained; however, the review of some items and the extension is suggested, seeking greater conceptual agreement, in accordance with psychometric procedures.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Informes Psicológicos}, author={Sierra-Barón, Willian}, year={2023}, month={May}, pages={125–141} }
