To analyze and establish the relationship between the participation experience of rugby players with intellectual disabilities at Mixed Ability Rugby San Juan (Argentina) and a healthy lifestyle. Method. Qualitative research with a phenomenological design. The technique used was the focus group. 17 players with intellectual disabilities with an average age of 21 years old participated. For the analysis of the data, the analytical inspection strategy and the Atlas.Ti 6.2 software were used. Results. Interpersonal relationships and sports discipline (values, sporting events) were the prevailing themes in the players’ discourse. The third most prevalent category was COVID 19, especially focused on what was meant as loss due to the pandemic. Conclusion. The participation of young people in the Los Dinos team, as a cooperative game with an emphasis on the social, favors their social inclusion, positively impacting their well-being and comprehensive health.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Informes Psicológicos}, author={Arrigoni, Flavia}, year={2023}, month={May}, pages={142–158} }
