Abstract
“And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith” (1Co 15, 14). The Resurrection of Jesus is the founding and most important
event of Christian faith. Understanding the meaning of this transcendental fact and the resurrection appearances of Jesus is an unavoidable task not only for Theology, but for every believer as well. Thus, from an approach to the categories used by the four Evangelists and by the Christian Tradition referred by Saint Paul in order to present the manifestations of the resurrected one, the aim of this paper is to deepen in the significance of such an event and to contribute to the elucidation of its theological and existential horizon.
